FIRE: Extinguishers

It is that time of year again...check your fire extinguishers. A charged and mounted fire extinguisher should be easily accessible every 50 feet in the barn and all storage areas. The most versatile type of extinguisher is the ABC-type that extinguishes the broadest range of use. Extinguishers are not designed for universal use. An ABC type is recommended for locations that may experience different types of fires. With fire season right around the corner, it is the perfect time to refresh or install fire extinguishers and get your evacuation plan in place.
